If the surgical first assist or RNFA is employed, they go through HR. If they are employed by an independent group that has an affiliation with our hospital, then these AHPs are credentialed through the MSO process as Allied Health No Hospital Privileges staff.

Ours now go through the Medical Staff process as Professional Health Staff. We got cited regarding this during our last DNV survey and made the change at that time.
