Credentialing File Retention

In Illinois, how long must we retain one's credentialing file? Now that we are electronic, those files stay indefinitely, but I am questioning the retention time for our old paper credentialing files.

I am interested in know what the standard practice is for retention of old paper credentials files also. Does anyone have a policy regarding this? Thank you.
